Cone Drive (Jiangsu) Transmission Co., Ltd. (i.e. Cone Drive) is a part of Cone Drive, a subsidiary of Timken Company. Cone Drive was founded in 1925. It is a century-old company that produces double-envelope reducers. Its predecessor, Jiangyin Huafang New Energy Hi-Tech Equipment Co., Ltd (i.e. H-FANG), was founded in 2009, and completed the merger with CONE DRIVE in Shanghai in 2014, and has been the domestic slewing drive industry standard-setter. Its products are widely used in solar photovoltaic, photothermal tracking power generation and engineering machinery fields and industries. 2008 H-FANG FOUNDED IN JIANGYIN, CHINA
H-Fang was established in Jiangyan, China with a focus on slewing drive and bearing solutions, supporting the global construction industry.

2009 EXPANDS PRODUCT RANGE AND ACHIEVES QUALITY CERTIFICATION
In 2009, the H-Fang product portfolio grew to include the ‘S’, ‘SE’, and ‘PE’ slewing drive products to serve the PV and HCPV solar tracking market, while achieving ISO9001 certification.

2011 GAINS ACCREDITATIONS AND CONTINUES TO EXPAND PRODUCT OFFERING
Following admittance to CRES (Chinese Renewable Energy Society), H-Fang was also approved for international safety standards, SVHC and TUV. The ‘HSE’, ‘VS’, and ‘PVE’ product launches were announced to further support the global solar market.

2012 NEW FACILITY OPENS TO SUPPORT GROWING PRODUCT RANGE
With the addition of the ‘W’ and ‘WE’ products, CCS certification, the establishment of the China Solar Tracking System Alliance with CRES and the Tracking Drive Technology Research Institution, H-Fang opened a second production facility to support product demand.

2013 MORE PRODUCTS, MORE CERTIFICATIONS
H-Fang launched ‘WEA’ and ‘HSJ’ products, while product range was approved as ‘industry standard’ by NSTC (National Standardization Technical Committee).

2014 H-FANG ADOPTS CONE DRIVE BRAND TO EXPAND SOLUTION OFFERING, GLOBALIZATION
H-Fang was acquired by Cone Drive to expand product offering, end-markets, and global reach, while obtaining ISO14001 approval, receiving best supplier award by the Oshkosh Group, and launching the ‘R’ product.

2015 SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS AND ADDITIONAL PRODUCT RANGE GROWTH
Implementation of ERP software to improve process management was finalized, membership to CNSTA (China National Solar Thermal Alliance) was granted, and ‘SDE’ and ‘PDE’ products were launched to support focus on CSP solar market.

2016 CONE DRIVE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY INTRODUCED
Cone Drive’s production equipment and practices were installed and implemented at H-Fang, allowing the famed double-enveloping worm gearing to be produced at H-Fang. This milestone offered a newfound focus on the robotics industry, and continued growth in the solar market with the addition of the ‘AD’ product.

2017 CONE DRIVE HARMONIC SOLUTIONS® INTRODUCED
Cone Drive Harmonic Solutions® product was introduced, offering H-Fang unlimited presence in the Chinese robotics market.
